CLAC’s organizational and operational strengthening

One of our main objectives and challenges is to continue strengthening CLAC in order to ensure a solid and efficient organizational and operational structure as an integrative platform for Small Producers and Workers of Fair Trade in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Methodologies for strengthening:

  • FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY

Implementing a financial sustainability strategy, which will allow CLAC to have greater autonomy and strength, and to support our member organizations with additional resources.

  • COMMUNICATION STRATEGY

Implementing a communication and media strategy, in order to achieve an effective and efficient communication, at an internal (SPOs, workers, Product Networks, Country Networks and operational staff) and external level (with Fairtrade International, National Fairtrade Organizations, Producer Networks, public and private sector, among others).

  • PRODUCT NETWORKS STRENGTHENING

Strengthening product networks as technical committees that work to ensure a stronger connection to the market, through the development of product strategies, the promotion of such, the identification of needs and the execution of processes of revision of costs and prices, as well as the revision of standards per product.

  • WORKERS NETWORKS STRENGTHENING

Strengthening Workers Network and workers committees for each country.

  • COUNTRY NETWORKS STRENGTHENING

Strengthening CLAC’s Country Networks, thereby encouraging organizational sustainable development of SPOs and the elaboration of sustainability strategies for themselves.

  • IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STRATEGIC PLAN

Securing an operational structure that is able to carry out CLAC’s Strategic Plan, efficiently and effectively.

Do not hesitate to contact CLAC to help you solve any questions regarding our work and the beneficial impact that Fair Trade has in our organizations, networks, territory and society.

It will always be a pleasure to serve you!
