CLAC has 7 product networks that bring together organizations that work with the same product in different countries. Each network has developed its own strategies to seek new markets and strengthen existing markets for the benefit of small Fair Trade producers. Below we present each of the networks.
Product Networks have the following roles and functions:
- The defense of the interests of its members.
- In coordination with the Chief Executive Officer to implement those programs or functions delegated by CLAC.
- To provide specific and specialized support to the Board of Directors, its committees and CLAC’s Management Board, in all matters related to the establishment of criteria, policies and pricing of its products.
- To fulfill and execute the functions and attributions approved by the General Assembly, as well as the operative roles established by the Board of Directors.
Coffee network
It brings together certified organizations that sell Fairtrade coffee. The coffee network, together with CLAC’s commercial team, manages the participation in fairs and the realization of the high-quality Golden Cup competitions.
